How do I know if there are encrypted or hidden files on my PC?
In the “General” tab, we will see a check box with the title “Hidden” which we press to activate said attribute. We select the file, group of files or folder that we want to hide with the mouse, once we have them marked, we display the context menu of the mouse and click on the “Properties” option. To hide our files in Windows, the easiest way is to change their attributes in the “Properties” menu of them or of the folder that contains them the process is similar to encryption. When the file is encrypted, other users on the computer or outside of it can only open it if the key is entered. Depending on whether we are encrypting a file or a folder, the “Encryption Warning” window may appear we choose if we want to encrypt the file, or include the folder that contains it (for security reasons) we make our selection and click on “Accept”. To finish, click on the “OK” button and the window with the title “Advanced attributes” will close immediately and then we click on the “Apply” button and then click on “OK . Now we look for the button “Advanced options” which we will see in the “General” tab we click on the checkbox where it says “Encrypt content to protect data. We select the file that we are going to encrypt (If we are going to choose several skipped files we hold down Ctrl, and if they are together we use Shift). Press the right mouse button and display the context menu to click on “Properties”. 
We can encrypt our files easily in Windows. This procedure can be performed on a file or a group of files, and is the same for any version of the operating system In order to activate this function we will do the following:
